Being The Odd One Out ™

I'm sure... alot of you, have seen my new header by now, and also contributed a couple of interesting comments too.

some say it's childish.why?
some say it's nice. why?
some say "IT'S LION KING!".but why??

WHY LION KING?

well,
to be honest, it wasn't lion king that prompted me to put this picture up. it was the meaning behind the picture. the way simba was portrayed in the picture.

Like us, simba had his future all planned out for him. he was to be king. he had a destiny. a fate, some might call it. but no doubt, he was borned to do something, to be a someone.

what are we borned to do? Are we borned in this world merely to future congest this already pakced out world? are we here to continue to contribute to global warming? are we here just so that we can make up the numbers so that one day we can proudly announce that the world's population has grown from6 billion to 10billion?

why are we here? what does the future beholds for us?

do we know?

some of us might think that we're made for something BIG, that we were meant to be something/someone important, in the future.

but the world nvr revolves around us.

looking at simba, despite being king, all majestic in his country, but compared to the world, he is "negligible". take a look out ur window, look up the sky, and realise how majestic the whole universe is compared to us.
the whole world doesnt revolve around us. we are so tiny, we're simply negligible.

In life, there are many expectations.
whether it's our own expectations, or other's expectations, expectations are there in life.
the other animals in the picture, thye symbolize the ppl around us. our parents, our friends, our relatives, those who pay close attention to our lifes. every move of ours, is observed by them. every wrong move we make, they can see. but they are also the ones who supports us. without them, neither will we be here.

so why are we here?
are we here in this world merely to fulfil their expectations of these people?
is that all there is to life?
we look up the night sky, and wonder, is there a God up there among all the stars overlooking us?
or do we stare down at our palms, and see that our fate, really lies in our own hands?
