Buckle up behind, buddy!

yeah it's been days now since i last blogged. so i shall maybe blog about life so far.
firstly, the weather's been terribly hot these days, inclluding today. it was as high as 45.1 C today!. so hot such that electric generators break down, railway tracks bend out of shape, people collapse due to heat stroke, and BUSHFIRES. the weather's just been crazy.and like i said before, it last happened a hundred years ago. fortunately, it's gonna improve tmr, according to the weather forecast. probably around 37 C. still hot, but i guess it's bearable.

this afternoon, i went and open my bank account with ANZ bank. and just as we were about to finalise everything, the power went off! apparently, some power station nearby EXPLODED due to the extreme heat and caused a complete blackout. immediately, those ppl there's closed the bank and lock up-.- whereas in malaysia, whenever there's a blackout, a bank usually has UPS(uninterupted power suply) so that they do not lose any important information in case they're handling big money transactions. unfortunately there's no such thing in aus so i'll hv to go back there again first thing tmr.

i went to the city today! or also known as CBD(Central Business District) to collect some stuffs. yeah. i went to a apartment in Swanston Street and had a look around city at night. can't comment much, since it's already night time and it was late and stuff. but something interesting did happen on the way back. there was a BOOZE BUST!!! JENG JENG JENG.

sounds cool eh? but it's just a random road block set up to catch ppl who were drivng under the influence of alcochol. yeah. and heree, they take it reall seriously. in australia, there's no play play,

etc etc.

bushfires are happening all over the place right now. apparently, bush fire spread so easily here, not only because of the hot and dry weather but also because of the nature of the trees. for example, there's this gum tree, which has seeds which EXPLODES when riped. thus, when the tree is on fire and the seed explodes... the fire spreads very very far away. there's even one case where a group of fireman were trying to control the fire, and the seeds were projected BEHIND the fireman, trapping all of them within the fires. yeah and they all perished in the fire.
HENCE, the australian gov came up with a new fire engine, with a specially built cabin in it so that in case the firemen were trapped, they could camp out in the cabinn until help arrives or the fire burns out by itself.

i jsut finished watchuing australian open ON TV. the semi final was THE BOMB. rafael nadal vs fernando verdasco. what a good match it was. was over 5 hours long, though nadal finally went through to meet federrer in the finals. the tennis arena is situated in the city, CBD together with the Melbourne criket ground. oh and today, i also learnt about criket, how it is played and how it works(:

moving on, i wanna apologise for the lack of pictures. will post them up soon. just not now.yet. anyway, been running aorund trying to confirm my place in the school but unfortunately as of right now, i do not have a school and i doubt that i'll even start school by next week. probably only get to start the following week. yeah.

and no i haven't gotten my australian number as i was busy running aorund from school to school, enquiring about enrolment.

pretty stressful, added with the heat. it's pretty uncomfortable.

so let's talk about food. if u wanna compare food here with malaysia, i suggest u stay in malaysia. wait. that's an understatement. i STRONGLY suggest u stay there. the food here(asian food) is horrible. its ingredients are... MSG,MSG and more MSG. before u even leave the restaurant, ur tongue start to itch dude to the excessive amount of MSG in the food!
i ate hokkien mee today, wanted to try and gauge the standard, and by all means, it was crap.
though i heard there're good vietnamese noodles around though. i don't know. not quite sure for sure. but yeah.

hmm. i think that's all i've gotta share for now. perhaps pc can share more when he arrive here in 9 days time. busy busy man right now.
