and that. my friends, is the weather forecast for melbourne. and im telling u. it's SCORCHING out there! i heard though that when temperatures do hit 40 C, immediately the schools close and send u home, precaution for heat stroke u see. pretty coool eh?

anyway, another common practice here is that australians flock to the nearest libary or shopping mall to get the free air con. where they sit all day all afternoon away. coz electricity here in melb is not cheap u see. so u dont waste ur money blasting ur air con at home. and did u know that malb is facing a water crisis too? THERE IS NO WATER! so much so that the council has came up with so many rules like, no washing ur car, u're only allowed to water ur garden on certain days, u're advised to spend only FOURMINUTES in the bathroom(the caps are for u to see, sk:B haha) and many more.
HOWEVER, because the skies are so clear, the land cools down drastically towards the night. last night i was experiencing temperatures of 20 C during the night! yeah summmer. wanna know somethting cool about clear skies? u get to see STARS. STARS as if somebody sprinkled shiny dust on black paper.
in my two days, i've seen good angmohs, and also not-so-good angmohs.good as in friendly and good to talk to, while not so good as in they brush u away and talk to u as if u were nothing but scum.
as i'm typing this, my dad's sleeping soundly beside me. it's already EIGHT and it's still bright out there.
Anyway, it's dinner time now. gotta go. shall update more laters with pictures hopefully about my hse.
