The Ministry of Food.

TMF is proud to present to u, what i ate last night, on the 7th of March 2009.
for those who were wondering what i've been eating all this while, the time has finally come:)

check it out:)

Step 1.

that's my hands(:

step 2

washing(: soak the veges to freshen them up and "wake them up"(:

onions and garlics(:
for me, personally, i absolutely LOVE garlic. cooking is nvr complete without garlic.
ilovegarlicilovegarlic
it is one of the must-have's in everyy kitchen(:

rule #1 : no garlic, no nice food.

Step 3
chop the veges(:
Step 4

Heat up the pan.

Toss in the garlics

just let the garlic cook for awhile, til it turns a lil, brownish, then

throw in the veges!

let it sit for awhile...
add some salt and pepper to ur liking. and

WHOA!

"if u ever feel something is not right, or something is missing in terms of flavour, ADD SALT."

SALT
-the miracle spice that'll enhance the flavour of ur cooking.
Rule #2 : ADD SALT.

next up....

throw in some chopped garlic and fry those veges!
add salt

and it is ready to serve.

at this point, i thought... "hey, two veges, but no meat!"

and so i scavenged my fridge and found...

anchovies!
a.k.a. ikan bilis
so i chopped some onions,
fry em.
add my anchovies, and SAMBAL BELACAN:D

taa daa! sambalikanbilisbelacan!
my own creation;B
first of many to come(:

aand when i put them altogether, they make set of colourful dishes(:

yes my friends, that is our very own, malaysian curry chicken(:

and thus, dinner is served.
:)

bon apettit.
