Pancakes, anyone?

So, today i decided to make some pancakes:D
it’s dead simple!

you need..

milk, eggs and self raising flour. (photos not mine. if i had eggs like that. i would totally freak out.)

so anyway. u mix them up, mash em, whisk em, stir em, whatever. just keep doing it til ur arms feel sore. then check if its smooth and runny(:

it will start off a lil lumpy with the egg and flour.. just add milk(: AND whisk em like there’s no tmr!

your end result should look something like this…
(lol. i am a first timer yet i’m talking like a pro xD)

next up.

heat pan and add oil/butter/whatever u like(lard)

be careful though. we don’t want burnt butter so if u’re using butter, always remember: low heat, ppl(: coz butter doesn’t have a high…erm… heat resistance? well basically it goes brown fairly easily-.- so low heat while u melt it, med high heat just before u pour the pancake mixture in.

OR

u can mix it up. if u really like the taste of butter that much, and u’re afraid of burning em. what u can do, is mix two types of oil! butter, and say veg oil(which has a higher… erm.. heat resistance.) and thus ur butter won’t go brown and burnt as quickly!;D YAY!

then let em pancakes roll!

u can put as much as u want, depending on your liking! put a lot, and you get a thick pancake! put not so much, and u get a thin pancake! YAY!

one thing that i found out is that pancakes cook REALLLY REALLY fast. like. really.

so once u see “bubbles/holes” on the pancake, it’s time to flip em!

then just continue frying em til u’re happy with the colour and the smell(: then it’s time to plate up!

unfortunately, folks, i got too hungry and ate like, two pieces before i remembered to take a photo of it. HEH. well in my defense,
